South Carolina, Hydrogeologist and Licensed Well Driller
Recent projects include:
South Carolina – Technical oversight of deep monitor well (400-500’) construction at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site (SRS). Work involved installation of wells via sonic drilling, required for a large-scale ground water assessment project. Additional work at SRS has included groundwater assessment around oil/solvent seepage basins and coal ash disposal basins.
South Carolina – Work as a Licensed Professional Geologist on a Targeted Brownfields Assessment site for a major university in the upstate of South Carolina. The project included subsurface sampling of soils, groundwater, and suspect Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) at an industrial facility. The project was coordinated with, and the report submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, Atlanta, GA, and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
South Carolina – Work at multiple Underground Storage Tank (UST) sites, Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) sites, bulk storage and distribution terminals, and pipeline facilities for a major petroleum marketing company involving tank removals/decommissioning, ground water assessment and remedial actions, and facility upgrades
South Carolina – Groundwater and surface water sampling and field support at the Cone Mills Superfund Site in Greenville, South Carolina.
